The Johnson Adventure Potbelly
OK, I had my doubts about how we’d get along at first, but I gotta say, this blade grows on you, and FAST.
This is one of the more versatile blades we have ever worked with. It has prepped cordage and webbing; made thick tri-pod posts for holding up heavy cooking pots; split numerous amounts of fire wood; made fire starting kits; prepped meals; cut through frozen meats; and anything else we could come up with.
The Adventure Potbelly also has some additional companions. The sheath, which has a additional equipment pouch on the side, is superb for holding additional survival items, a phone, rubbing spices, animal repellant, or whatever you want.
The next partner is the Johnson Adventure Piggyback. What a great blade in and of itself. This is the perfect utility instrument for intricate jobs in the field. It’s light, strong and maneuvers very well in the hand. It is held in a kind of secret compartment within the sheath.
We just wanted to take this moment to thank Ka-Bar again for supplying us with such a versatile piece of kit. We’ll be focusing a lot on the Becker Companion next. Stay tuned blade fans.
